Gary & Joan,
Just a quick note to say thank you for a great afternoon of sailing. Thank you also for keeping a close eye on our rookie snorkelers, they were much more comfortable knowing you were right there in the dinghy if needed. Hope to see you guys again very soon!!!

Gary and Joan,
Thanks again for taking the family out for a wonderful sail . We had so much fun the kids are still talking about the sailboat ride we went on with the cute little dog.
I have to say it was one of the best days we had on the cruise. it was a shame that it was so short and we did not get to spend more time with you both.
The snorkeling was awesome to say the least . You have done such a nice job on keeping the boat looking pristine.
I am sorry I did not have a chance to send this note sooner as it was very busy getting back into the swing of things at work.
Thanks again for the fantastic outing and I hope we will see you soon wither in the Islands and or Annapolis.
Regards, Craig - June 23, 2008

Gary & Joan,
I just wanted to pop you a quick email to thank you very much for a wonderful day sailing and snorkeling around St. John! Heather and I had a really great time and appreciate the both of you taking the time to point out various points of interest. The snorkel spot was fantastic and something we would not have been able to reach otherwise.
After reviewing all the pictures I took...I realized that I didn't take any of Heather and I. I was so busy taking pictures of all the beautiful scenery...I did manage to capture a cute picture of Roxy and have attached it to this email.
Take care! If we make it down to the islands next year we will definitely arrange a full day sail...maybe over to BVI.
Thanks, Michael - June 3, 2008

Gary and Joan,
Hello again! It has been a few months since you took us on that wonderful snorkeling trip to Waterlemon Cay on St John. We had such a great time and really enjoyed sailing with you (and Roxy) for the day.
We wanted to send you a few pictures we took that day. Thank you again for your in-depth tour of St John, expert sailing (including the accidental man-overboard drill!), the great snorkeling, and delicious lunch and rum punch! We hope to return to St John again, and to sail with you two again some time soon.
Hope all is well there and that you are enjoying the summer.
Take care, Tim and Susan - May 26, 2008

Hi Gary and Joan,
Thanks again for the wonderful sail last week. By chance, is it possible for you to e-mail me the group photo you took of us on the boat, when you get time? I'd like to share it with other family members. Thanks in advance if you are able to do this. Please give Roxy a hug from all of us. We are still talking about her, that little sweetie!

Our favorite day was the day we chartered a sailboat. (a half day sail) It was just the six of us and it was great! The captains (there were 2!) were a husband and wife named Gary and Joan and they made us all feel very relaxed and comfortable on their gorgeous boat. We went out to Lovango Cay and there was some very nice snorkeling there. (Very pretty coral and interesting fish.) The boat was called Bread on the Water and again, it was agreed by all that this was our best St. John adventure. What a wonderful day!

Hey guys,
Well, we flew home from the VI a week ago today. I just wanted to let you know that we had a great time sailing with you guys last Tuesday. And thanks for letting me take the wheel for so much our time under sail. It was a real treat for me to sail such a big, beautiful boat. We actually have a photo of the Soggy Dollar Bar, taken from the boat as our screen saver right now. Definitely brings back the memory of a great day.
Thanks for the hospitality and for accommodating us with the Tortola pick-up-hopefully it will lead to more business opportunities for you guys from the BVI. As I mentioned to you there are very few day-sail operations that we could find out of Tortola, and none with such a great boat. Despite the cloudy wet weather, we had a blast sailing with you..your new home sailing waters are amazing.
Thanks again, guys. We really enjoyed both your company, and the experience.
Talk to you soon. Bruce and Kelly - April 2, 2008

Gary and Joan,
What a delightful experience we had sailing on Bread on the Water with the two of you and Roxy! When the winds came up and made for less than perfect snorkeling, you chose to make the most of the situation by treating us to some serious sailing.
Lunch was superb! As soon as the weather turns tropical here in the Midwest, we will stir up some of your special rum concoction and pretend that we are back on St. John.
Until our next visit to the islands, Lou, Jim, Matt, Jen and Matt - March 26, 2008

Dear Joan & Gary,
There are no palm trees out our windows. We are back in Baltimore, where it is rainy & not so cold, but not sunny & warm St. John weather. We had a wonderful time spending the day with you both & Roxy. Thank you so much for the great sail, snorkel, lunch & wonderful company. We are still talking about the day. And the picture is not too bad either. Lisa forwarded it to us. Also not to be forgotten ... the banana rum drink. Janet did recreate it once we were back in Cape Canaveral for a few days after the cruise. It was delicious. Gordon sends his best & totally enjoyed the political & football talk.
Thank you again for the super day. We hope to see you again in Baltimore or the BVIs. All the best to both of you & Roxy, too.
Happy sailing & take care. Jan & Gordon - March 8, 2008

Dear Joan & Gary,
We wanted to write to tell you how much we enjoyed our day on Bread on the Water. Seeing St. John from the deck of such a beautiful boat was a real treat.
You are very gracious hosts and we felt spoiled by your hospitality. We loved the day on the water, the snorkeling at Water Lemon Cay, the delicious lunch, the friendly conversation and your warm welcome. You made a beautiful week in St. John even better. Roxie was a delight as well. You were especially gracious as Pam & I stumbled around your beautiful boat, spilling drinks and trying to get our sea legs.
Thanks again for sharing your prized coconut/banana rum drink recipe. We enjoyed those the following day. Not quite as good as yours, but still tasty.
You will always be a part of our story, as we recount our wonderful week in St. John and hope that our friends will look you up as they visit the Caribbean.
We wish you smooth sailing and safe travels during the year.
Kind regards, Chris & Pam - January 24, 2008
